1 RESUMO

INTERACTION BETWEEN OF IRRIGATION LEVELS AND FERTIRRIGATION POTASSIUM ON THE PASSION FRUIT
2 ABSTRACT
The objective of this work was to evaluate the response of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis f. Flavicarpa Deg.) under different irrigation levels and different potassium doses applied by fertirrigation. In special, we aimed to evaluate this response on the productivity and quality of the yellow passion fruit in the environmental conditions of Alvorada do Gurguéia, State of Piauí, Brazil. The experiment was performed in the experimental field at Embrapa Meio-Norte. The adopted experimental design was the randomized blocks in split plots, with five irrigation levels (30%, 60%, 90%, 120% and 150% of class A tank evaporation - CAE) as plots and four levels of fertirrigation potassium doses (0; 0.225, 0.450 and 0.675 kg ha-1) as subplots, with four replications. The following variables were analyzed: average fruit weight, yield, titratable acidity and soluble solids. The interaction between applied irrigation level (150% CAE) versus the potassium dose (K4) had a positive effect on yield and average fruit weight. The increase in applied water levels under increasing K doses stimulated the yield in terms of soluble solids and titratable acidity.
